All Day Queer Dance

My Insides, Your Insides, a recurring textile installation at Gadigal’s most sacred queer dance party. All Day Queer Dance. This work is a celebration of trans bodies. These precious flesh sacks that work so hard to digest the world around us. Deep reverence to these bodies that hold us, carry us and continually choose to shape shift into the truest version of ourselves. Made from fused stockings, stuffed with fabric scraps and recycled wool. My Insides, Your Insides was installed and exhibited 4 separate times, each time being different from the last. Creating a new immersive portal on the dance floor each time, in celebration of our bodies.
