I’m a queer, interdisciplinary artist, designer, stylist & educator. My practice encompasses fashion, textile art, performance, installation and community-led education.

Sook Studio is my baby !

It’s an independently run fashion and textile practice centred around sustainability, material reclamation, and queer self-expression. I work primarily with found and deadstock textiles to create one-off couture garments, wearable artworks, and textile installations. Through repurposed textiles and different fabrication processes, I explore themes of gender affirmation, diasporic identity, textile cartography and bodily autonomy.

Sook Studio is based on unceded Wangal Land. I pay my respects to the traditional owners of this land, land I am privileged enough to create on. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal Land.
